Regional Museum Langkat

Langkat District Museum is located in the town of Tanjung Pura. The existence of the Regional Museum was pioneered in 2003 by utilizing the former Kingdom of Sultan Langkat building roomates founded in 1905.

The museum is located on Jl. T. Amir Hamzah and not far from the Mosque of Tanjung Pura Azizi. The existence of the new Museu from 4 this year in their work continue to strive to complete repertoire of objects of historical and cultural objects from several ethnic groups in Langkat such as Malay, Karo and Java. With a building area of approximately 1500 m, the museum Attempts to enghimpun, storing, treating and introduces a variety of objects / items are displayed in seven rooms as follows:
